The Hush Sound

Chris Faller, bassist, has left THS

I'm happy that apparently he's doing something thats good for him. he hasn't been having as much fun anymore and needed to explore other bands.

but its not a nice feeling to know that one thing you would ever see break off has done so. they were a group with talent dripping from their fingertips and worked so well together but now they are minus one and plus a (maybe) temporary bassist named Mike. hes been doing extra instrumentation with them on DATC. pretty cool guy.

nothing is perfect or near perfect. everything must end and nothing is unbreakable. life lessons suck

brightside: some other band(s) get to experience the superior talent of chris' bass skills. he truly is something when it comes to that instrument... and if they want back up vocals. well damn hes got them too. drummer sprained his wrist? aha chris can beat it just as well

Chris= a very important part of the hush sound that will be missed.

THS=we will see. they all remain just as amazing. just smaller

I miss you all

I know that the people who actually care about this journal aren't on here anymore but I really miss all those late nights and good times. Now we're all too busy with school and life and work and boyfriends and buzznet lost its appeal.

:(

However I haven't changed much

Right now I'm going to college, I finally decided I'm going to become a teacher, and yes I am still in love with panic at the disco. I'm seeing them November 4th at the Gwinett Arena and I am so excited!

this was for abby. boyd, iero, raquel, roz, sophie. we were an aweosme group of whores huh? :D

Lyric Rant (EISLEY)

so the other day i bought all of eisley's EPs (4)
... too much! they are so gooooooooood!
Sun Feet
Listen to me please sit down and stay
I'm gonna build a house and hide away
gather timber from the ground
I'll build a castle that won't fall down
and when I'm done
the clock will stop
and from our heads will come
bright flowers
I don't know I can't contain my heartbeat
I am dancing shrouded by green trees
I am whirling wearing my sunfeet
and humming children to sleep
I love to watch the light you spread to the room
see how it dances from you to me to you
with our laughter, bright white sounds
soft sweet music makes me sleep
calling my mind away
resting faces come in quiet

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Jon Update!!!!!!

11.03.2007 - the ones who never yawn
the last post was 5.17.07… that’s definitely my bad... maybe my laptop fell into the river one day while I was drifting in my wood boat under the sun catching up on some reading… and yes, I should’ve gotten it replaced or went to the community library to write you from there. maybe that didn’t happen but I know for a fact that I haven’t had an update in over 5 months.

a lot has happened since I last wrote… we spent some time in the Nevada Mountains, which was a really great experience for us. you might have seen some pictures. If not, find them, we look pretty funny. we were also in California doing some demos for the record, which was a good time for us because it was the first time we actually got to here what the songs we were writing sounded like.

now it is November, we are 6 tracks into recording our new album, and I couldn’t be more excited. I came home to Chicago for the weekend for my moms surprise party (happy birthday Mom Walker) and now I am getting on an airplane and going to finish this record with the boys. I do apologize for disappearing for so long, we have been putting all of our time and focus into writing for this album. we have not and will never forget about all of you who make this band what it is. be back soon.

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! haha Mom Walker

PANIC! WHY?!?!?!!?

9/25/07, 6:17 pm EST

Panic! At the Disco Video: A “New” Song We May Never Hear Again

Word has it Panic! At the Disco scrapped almost all the songs they’ve written for the follow-up to A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out (guess they’re not nearly done with it anymore). So maybe the “new song” (a helpful commenter says it’s called “9 in the Afternoon”) they played last night at New York’s Nokia Theatre will never be heard from again. Just in case, we’ve recorded it for posterity.

I jsut want them to stick with something!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrr this makes me sad!!!! at this rate we're not getting an album until 2010 :P Yeah I'm exagerating but still I've been waiting a long time for this!!!

PANIC! NEWS AT FUCKING LAASSSSSST!!

and not just any kind but single release date kind! ive known the album would be out in feb for quite a while now but a much more closer single release!!!!!! AGH! THANK GOD!!!!!!

Ryan Ross says band didn't have proper setup at log cabin; plans to take another stab at LP in Las Vegas hometown.

Despite what you might've previously thought ... and despite what their label's online store tells you, Panic! at the Disco's upcoming album isn't their second, but rather, their third.

"We've had quite an interesting last nine months," guitarist Ryan Ross said. "We were in the mountains for a while, writing songs, and we moved to L.A. for a bit, and then we decided to start over in July. So now we're kind of trying to finish writing this second second record. Actually, it's almost like our third record, since we were like three-quarters finished with the other one before we scrapped it."

By now, the process of making album number thr — uh, two, has been about as well-documented as it has been confusing: Sessions started in earnest earlier this year, when Panic took up residence in a log cabin to begin writing songs, songs which the band had apparently scrapped — in favor of more stripped-back numbers — by the time MTV News spoke with them in August. But up until now, no one was really sure why the band decided to trash an album's worth of material (though some have certainly had suspicions).

So, RyRo ... care to fill us in?

"We were just piecing stuff together up in the cabin. We would take lyrics, and we didn't really have ... a band set up," he explained. "We were just writing on pianos and guitars separately and just throwing other things in there, and it didn't really sound like a band, it sounded like a film score.

"We went through a stage of writing that just happened because we were on tour for so long, and we were sick of those old songs so much that we decided to write songs that were really complicated and challenging for us," he continued. "Then we realized that it's not going to be any fun to play these live either, so we decided to ditch the whole project. There was a story line throughout the whole record, a short story, and we decided to put that on the shelf and just start playing as a band, and it's been a lot better."

So that means that the "love story" Ross mentioned back in April seems to have been jettisoned. But what are the new new songs about then?

"We've got about six or seven songs that are pretty much complete ... and [they're] a lot more uplifting. They've got a more positive outlook to them. It's kind of hard to write a bunch of sad songs if you're not sad anymore," Ross said. "I guess they're pretty different than the songs on the first album. I mean, we wrote those songs like three to four years ago, so obviously we've changed a lot in terms of everything — what we like and what we think is good."

Ross wouldn't say just when Panic plan to enter the studio to begin recording the follow-up to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, but drummer Spencer Smith was more than willing to let loose with the information: First and foremost, Panic will be staying at home to work on the album, recording it in the Studio at the Palms (it's the same ultra-slick Vegas spot that the Killers chose to record their Sam's Town album). And when will fans be able to hear some actual music?

"We want to have the new single out by the end of the year, probably around Christmas," Smith said. "And then have the album out in February. We hope."

Its Back At Last! New Chapter!

Ok so I FINALLY decided to finish it about a year after I started it. :D Sorry bout the delay and thank Bobbi for making me finish it. And BOYD for dreaming about it. And some convo me and Burbank had about it. Those three efforts combined urged me to start it again. Oh yeah and Thank YOU to my Stevie Wonder cd which I ended up listening to so that I'd finish... Ok so I'm not a genius like Fiona or Sophie or Raquel and lack the ability to write multiple main characters. Props to yall for it! So instead I finally get to put little bit and parts of the rest of my favorite whores in the world! So enjoy and hope Raquel gets into her choice of ...'s pants.

-Queen of the Underoos

Chapter 7

Raquel was just waiting for Andrea to catch up to her. She knew that she may have overreacted a bit at Starbucks with the whole Jon thing. During the concert she had found herself begrudgingly admitting that we wasn't all that bad. To have it right in her face wasn't something she liked though and would rather moarn the loss of her idol, or at least her favorite member from one of her favorite bands. Without a doubt the concert was spectacular. Everything was dead on that night.

Jon was really great with the crowd, aware of them and throwing looks that made some of the most deadset aginst him melt. He was a cool guy and she knew she couldn't ignore it, especially since she actually talked to him personally. However, there was one problem: Did people really admit when they're wrong to others?

....and what was that noise?

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Oh...laughing.  And it was coming from the three girls heading in the direction of the Starbucks. Might as well get them prepared for whats inside right? Fans helping fans.

"Hey!" Raquel greeted the girls as they looked over at her. "You guys just came from the Panic! concert right?"

"Yeah"

"Well so you don't have a heart attack in Starbucks and think you're in Heaven Ryan Ross and Jon Walker are in there."

"..." Wait for it.... "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS??!?!?!" Haha didn't see that coming.

"Yeah they're in there... I guess still chatting it up with a friend of mine"

The shorter of them with the black, blonde, and pink hair (a/n yeah I saw your bulletin boyd!) spoke up," Wow your friend is so lucky! I mean to be talking to them! I had this plan to try and get Fi and Soph here to jump Zach so I could go onstage and grab Brendon!"

"I thought that was you! Congratulations on the attempt! But watch that impulse when you get inside. I don't know if those two could take that much enthusiasm" Though without a doubt she'd love to see these three attempt it. They looked like a determined lot. Very likeable though inspite/ because of their daring and kooky ways. Thinking about it she figured she should probably go with them and find Andrea. Figures she'd get too caught up in Ryan to notice her friend was missing.

"Hey I'll go with you guys ok? I have to- AGGHHH!!!!"

"No worries Raquel! I'm already here!" Andrea laughed. It was a shame she jumped on Raquel's back because she couldn't see her undoubtedly priceless reaction. Oh well, it was worth it for the scream! "And I brought company!" Jon and Ryan weren't too far behind but were a bit preoccupied with rolling on the floor laughing, or rather Ryan was. Jon was looking at Raquel who had turned around at Andrea's company. Not knowing what to say from emabarassment she started off with introductions, made much easier with Andrea falling to the ground.

"Ok Andrea, Jon Ryan this is Sophie, Fi, and Nikki!" Andrea waved enthusiastically but Jon and Ryan look at the three wonderingly.

It dawned on Ryan first," Hey! Aren't you the guys who roughed up our bodyguard, Zach?"

Sophie responded," Well actually it was just me and Fiona" at this Fi started nodding enthusiastically while fighting to keep a straight face" and plus I can hardly consider that 'roughing up' It was more like manhandling."

"Haha yeah well either way you've pretty much screwed Zach's mind. He's lost between arresting or hiring you guys as body guards. Congratulations on that!" Jon bowed in awe of their accomplishment. Not many people have the potential to unthrown Zach afterall.

"Ok well then fine. How about Ryan and I take you guys to see the others? It'll be fun. Right Ryan?" And thats when the other noticed Ryan and Andrea weren't there. Imagine what the gutterminded of them was thinking.

hahaa yeah me no like the ending but it was dragging so I need to post this. Love you guys!

Best Compliment Of My Life

Ok so for the few of you who know I once wrote a story on here.... about a year ago! I told my sister about it the other day and she went and read it. Here's what she said about it:

[delete]
bobzombie222: 08/01/2007 3:21 AM [view in context]
Damn it andrea, you need to finish your fucking storry Eeishta!! Cant leave me hangin here. I wanna see Raquel redeam hereself and she cant very well do that if your sitting here, bein lazy and reading some book, listening to fucking Goo goo dolls on vh1 nocternal music videos and drinking coffee, waiting for me to get tired and get off so you can have the computer for the whole day, as part of our system we got going! If you ever want me to appreciate your friends on here that is...

Ps: This sounds pathetic kinda, but for me this is almost like harry potter, with probably a wider variety of vocabulary, of course i wouldnt know sinse i dont read it, it gets too boring for me. If you wrote more stories, i would most definately read them all multiple times, or as i might say, watch them, because never have i read something to where, i can hear voices, see everything going on, not only because i was somewhat familiar with the whole theme, but because of how it was said, or written. For once, i was appauled with a certain characters actions. You literally had me swaring at the computer screen and reading with a look on my face, so nasty you could never imagine it, as well as bursting out at laughter..[you know, when in the first chapter i thought that ryan was standing up when tugging on brendons pants going,"bren-doooon!!" all whiny-like.." I have not laughed that hard in a while, telling you how i saw it in my head. You truely are a phenominal writer, and that means a lot, coming from me, your sister who is a very picky reader.
[this is a really long comment in case you didnt notice]
hahaha

haha coming from Bobbi, that's a LOT! :D yayyyyyyyyyy lol

I wish I had the ending that me and Nikki came up with the oth day but i cant find it :P

anyone ever seen a place in the sun? ......CREEEEEEEEEEPPPPYYYYYYY!!!

OK so this one is REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT! Ok well it is to me at least. It is my one year anniversary of liking/loving/knowing/appreciating The Hush Sound...ANNNNND my one year anniversary since my FIRST Panic! at the Disco concert!!!! yep June 20th 2006. THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! That day changed my life!

now are they the cutest things ever? :D

SO!!!!!!! I completely forgot to mention this in my hondcivictour journal BUT remember that e kid who took my patrick pic? Yeah before any of the bas came on stage "Wine Red" by The Hush Sound came on and this guy next to him asks, "Hey who are they?" and the kid says, "Oh thats The Hush Sound. There's Bob right there and GREEEEETA (ok thats not how he said it but im emphasizing how he pronounced it like greetings) and thats all you have to know about them. No one cares about the other two?" OMFG!!!!! Thats one of the other reasons why I want to kill that kid. GREEEEEEETA?!?!?!?! GRETA YOU IDIOT!!! and no Bob and GRETA are not the only ones you need to know! Chris is amazing and Darren is amazing and if you know "Where We Went Wrong" they sing just like Bob and Greta do! Really good too! So yeah that kid pisses me off! *vent over*

Turn It Up I Never Want To Go Home

So I have none of my regulars for a title so you get the lyrics from a +44 song : )

Ok

so June 14th I went to Honda Civic Tour with Fall Out Boy, +44, The Academy Is..., Paul Wall, and Cobra Starship. O.M.G!!!!! Its in my top five concerts I swear!

So Burbank (panicfanatic) and I got there at 11 soemthing in the morning. We were so excited that we'd be the first! Yeah it didn't happen. There were like fifteen people there before us! Crazzzzzy people! So we had to wait for six hours for the gates to open! It was so fucking hot!!! Now my arms are actually tanned! When they opend the gates they were so unorganized! We ended going from being the 15th in line to the 5th practically! We ended up being behind a few people on the left side of the stage : ) a very good place trust me!

Cobra comes on first and WOW!!!! I already liked these guys a lot but didn't have their cd, so after the concert thats the thing I get! They were amazing! Gabe is so fucking crazy and you have to love him! Rylands pretty out there too...he's the one we're right in front of. They played (not in order) Snakes on a Plane (obviously), Send My Love To The Dancefloor, The Church of Hot Addiction, Its Warmer In The Basement, Hollaback Boy, The Ballad of Big Poppa and Diamond Girl and thats all I recognize for sure. With Snakes they got beckett up there!!!! If Burbank tells you she didn't have a heart attack SHE IS LYING!  It was amazing! And hahaha they got Paul Wall to do Travis' part! My favorite one was The Church of Hot Addiction cos that song is beyond the level of amazing! And Hollaback Boy KILLED me!!!!! Gabe is so silly!!!! Bt yeah they were so amazing and so entertaining and if I have the chance I am DEFINITELY going to go see them again!!!!!!!

Next was Paul Wall. That was kinda of weird cos I'm just not into rap! I can't help it! Though a week before I tried getting on his myspace to listen to his stuff and as soon as it starts playing my mom goes ANDREA STOP LISTENING TO THAT CRAP! TURN IT OFF!!!!!  So see? We aren't meant to be. But even then his set wasn't bad. Definitely funny seeing Burbank go in her little gangsta mode :D

NEXT IS THE ACADEMY IS...!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WERE SO AMAZING IT HURT!!!!!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!  So they played The Phrase That Pays (which I have a video of), Checkmarks, Slow Down, LAX to O'Hare, Now We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands, Everything We Had, and Neighbors. I was so sad afterward when I realized they hadn't played Seed, Same Blood, and Down and Out! But afterwards when I was in the car home cos during it all I could think was how amazing it was! William Beckett's voice is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! I don't know how he does it!!!!! The Butcher and Mike would have been so much more amazing if I had actually been able to see them! As you can see from my pics they were barely or not at all visible. BUT! Michael and Sisky? *dies* So amazing! AND YES!  I fucking made eye contact with Sisky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D He came over to where I was and I (being the idiot I am) started jumping up and down and he saw me and smiled!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T CARE THAT WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WHOLE THING FOR ME! :P So during Everything We Had I pretty much wanted to cry cos it was so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! As for the rest of them they were all so energetic I could barely think! Meaning my pictures and videos don't turn out as well. I'm so glad I finally got to see them!!!!!

Ok so next was +44. MAN WERE THEY GOOD! Mark Hoppus is crazy onstage!!!! He's jumping around everywhere and craig is soooooo cool! Travis is insane on the drums!!!!! I loved it! So they played Lycanthrope, Baby Come On, When Your Heart Stops Beating, Cliff Diving, Make You Smile, Little Death, 155, and Lillian. Even if you don't like them that much THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Personally Though I love the other bands more I think they did the best! During Make You Smile they got Cobra's Victoria to do the other vocals! She sounded so good! Plus it was my favorite song of theirs!!!! Urgh they were so amazing!! I want to se them again!

Now for Fall Out Boy! It was like heaven! It was sooooooo long! I loved it! They played goodness knows how many songs!!!!!!! Heres the ones I'm almost positive about though: Thanks For The Memories, Saturday, Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do, Where Is Your Boy, Dead On Arrival, Saturday, Thriller, The Take Over, The Breaks Over, This Ain't A Scene Its  A Goddamn Arms Race, Hum Hallelujah, A Little Less Sixteen Candles A Little More Touch Me, Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldnt Get Sued, Sugar We're Going Down, Golden, and Dance Dance. Then they did parts of other songs which were P!atd's IWSNT, Beat it by Micahel jackson, and a Neyo song i forgot which one though. :D the covers were tons of fun with patrick singin them! During Saturday which was the last song they played. Sisky came out and took Petes bass... I saw that at the show on the 10th Greta from The Hush Sound came out!!!!! those lucky people!!! Golden was SOOOOOOOOO beautiful!!!!!

Every song they did was amazing! I loved thier set so much! about a quarter of the way so in they had Joe and Pete enter these glass things where they were getting changed. Obviously practically every girl screamed when they saw Pete take his shirt off lol. But then they fogged the scream so no one could see anyhing. towards the end I was kinda sad at how far away Andy was but then they moved him some drums at the very front of the stasge!!!! I was so happy but I still couldnt see him cos someone freakishly tall girl pushed her way right in front of me!!!!!! urgh the bitch but whatever. ALSO OMFG!!!! at one part Joe was going crazy throwing picks and I couldnt get one! But then Patrick throws out ONE AND OH MY FUCKING GOD I CAUGHT IT! I freaked out so bad i dropped the damn thing for a second and reached down quickly to grab it and some fucking little 12 yr old boy snatches it from my fucking hand!!!!!!!! I want to kill him!!!!!! But no I stayed calm (haha not!) and just enjoyed the rest of the show. The little bastard was taller and me and at one point he got in front of me. I dont know what I'll do if I ever see again! hes lucky its not going to happen! So no pic for me! Im so unlucky with those! thats the second time now where I've almost had a pic and someone takes it right from me practically. But yeah either way that didnt even ruin the show for me!

It was so amazing and I loved everysecond of it! Patrick sung perfectly that night and agh he just always makes me want to squeal! Joe hair is now crazy long and he was insane on stage as usual! petes there as always and andy rocked!!!!!!!!!! at the end there was silver confetti shooting out so you pretty uch couldnt even see them! ... LITERALLY! IT WAS A LOT OF CONFETTI!!!!!!!

So eventually the show did end and me and Burbank wnet in line to get shirts. She got stuff and I got a Cobra CD!!!!!!! I had to! they were too amazing not to! plus I already had all fobs tais and +44!! So we have to go look for my mom and are calling her and have to go to the other entrance!!!!! urgh! but we get to her and she says she ws right where the buses are and theres people there! so we freak and go see if we can find them, mainly tai. AND THERE IS COBRA STARSHIP!!!!!! we got o Gabe first cos we actually can identify him but it takes awhile and when we get to him the dumb cosp say we have to leave so gabe's walking withpeople to their cars pretty much so he can get their stuff signed ( nice gabe) and Burbank gets her program signed and I get my cd signed. Then I ask for a hug and he hugs me! He is soooooo tall!!!!!!! My head almost hurt from having to look up!!! I told him how great they were and how I loved their show and had to buy their cd after it. He smiled and thanked me and then finally we had to leave.

THAT WAS ONE FO THE BEST CONCERTS EVERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY WE WENT!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!

NOW GO CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS AND PICTURES :D You should like them!

-George

see? not bad!!! haha well prob cos those were pretty much my best but still! go check them out!

BURBANK STOP DREAMING ABOUT BECKETT!

The White Stripes "Icky Thump"

Yah-hee, icky thump
Who'd-a thunk?
Sittin' drunk
On a wagon to Mexico

Her hair, what a chump
And my head
Got a bump
When I hit it on the radio

Red-head señorita
Lookin' dead
Came to said,
"I need a bed" en español

So I gave a drink of water
I'm gonna sing around the collar
Well, I don't need a microphone

[guitar solo]
[synthesizer solo]

Icky thump, with the lump
In my throat
Grab my coat
And now it's reckon
I was ready to go

Yeah, I swam beside the hair
She had one white eye
One blank stare
[Icky Thump lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

Lookin' up, lyin' there

On a stand in her hair
Was a candy cane
Black rum, sugar cane
Dry eye, somethin' strange!

La la, la la la la la la la la la laaa laaa laaa

[synthesizer solo]

Well, Americans:
What, nothin' better to do?
Why don't you kick yourself out?
You're an immigrant too.

Who's usin' who?
What should we do?
Well you can't be a pimp
And a prostitute too

Icky thump, handcuffed to a bunk
Robbed blind
Looked around
And there was nobody else

Left alone
I hit myself with a stone
Went home
And learned how to clean up after myself
